After having played a lot on Palmbet, we sat down with Kevin for a short interview.

What made you start playing poker?

Kevin: Well, I played poker a couple of times at during holidays. I won 50$ and decided to try my luck online. I immediately liked the game very much and decided to try my best to become a professional. And well I succeeded!

What do you love most about poker?

Kevin: Poker is combining psychology to arithmatics, which are two things I really like. Also to become a good player on a long-term basis you need to control yourself in bad rushes, so somehow poker teaches me self-control as well.

Who is your favorite professional poker player and why?

Kevin: I really like the way Phil Ivey is playing. From what I see he is a strong tight aggressive player using his image at the table to make massive bluffs. Also I love the way he checks-raise the river when he feels his opponent is making a value bet.

With which attributes would you describe yourself?

Kevin: I would say that I’m a loose-aggressive player trying to push others to make mistakes, But I will not say too much In a public place :-)

What other Interest do you have? Or is poker the one and only true game!?

Kevin: I play chess, I have even been playing with the National team under 18. Apart of that I’m just a normal guy drinking with friends on Saturday night. LOL.

Why do you play at PalmBet?

Kevin: I feel that the average player field is weaker than on other poker sites, also I like the design and to change the dealer when I get really bad cards.

What would you recommend to someone who starts playing on PalmBet?

Kevin: Read books, learn the basics of the game. In general at the start you should play really really tight. Then when you really begin to understand the dynamic of the game, invent your own style. And maybe the most important : avoid tilting.

Which stakes are the best in your opinion?

Kevin: It all depends on your bankroll. I would recommend to play with 1000-2000 Big Blinds if you play No limit holdem and between 2000-4000 Big Blinds if you play Pot Limit Omaha.

Thank you very much for the interview.
